Style
Christmas is the theme, so we picked sweaters that all have a Christmas feel to them, but not only Christmas. Many people can’t afford to buy a sweater for one or two functions, (it’s not a wedding dress!) so we tried to find some that have a wintery theme, as well, that can be used for Christmas and beyond. We did keep in kind the new craze of people who like to have ugly sweater parties and competitions. These tend to go from loud and gaudy to sweaters covered in bells, lights, and decals. We have a bit for all of that, including the kids and the pets.
Weather Resistance
These are perfect for partaking in any winter sports you or your family enjoy. Most of these choices will fit well under a parka or heavy coat and are great for wearing over top of a tee shirt or even a collared shirt, for a more dressy look.
Excellent for skiing, skating, shoveling the snow and any other outdoor activity. They are not big, bulky itchy sweaters, so they won’t bog you down when worn under another jacket. Most of these are great for wearing to work, to school, and just hanging around the house.

We get it. Christmas is expensive. People tend to overspend through the holidays. We wanted to pick sweaters that were well within almost all budgets. By choosing sweaters that are reasonably priced, they are available to everyone. You can get for yourself, your friends and family and add it to any other Christmas list you are shopping for. Make a great gift for a workmate, something you need last minute or even something as a ‘just for fun gift.

Comfort
We looked for comfort. You want soft and comfortable because you don’t want to be in a hurry to take off your fabulous new fun sweater. We looked for durability, easy to clean and breathability. Synthetic fibers have come such a long way. We did try to find something for everyone. Some people prefer all natural fibers, some people prefer a blend and there are those that go for style and color over what it is made from. Hopefully, we found something to keep everyone happy.
Durability
There were no reports of anything getting caught or falling off, but you can always give it a good check over once you get, just to reassure yourself. There is one sweater we covered, with a snow globe, tinsel, bells and more. It is meant for adults and very party-centric. But the rest are both fun and durable. But as these are intended to be clothing items, just because they are designated as fun or ugly, they are still made to be worn. These are not costumes, but actual items of clothing meant to be worn repeatedly.
Maintenance
While some of these have added parts, like tinsel trim or antlers, they are almost all machine washable. Because life is messy, we don’t want to ruin a perfectly good sweater from spills or small accidents. We are talking parties, kids and pets, after all. Because many of them are synthetic fiber or blends of natural and synthetic, you can easily wash them in the machine. Some may require a bit extra care, with the added decorations to them, but a hand wash or dry cleaning will take care of that.
Materials
We took into consideration the material for easy cleaning and care, for comfort and breathability. We also are aware some people have allergies and aversions to certain types of fabrics, so we tried to cover the ground in all the areas.
Safety
We looked for that, mostly with children in mind. Nothing for kids to choke on, nothing that should fall off and cause injury. Some of the sweaters do have added pieces, like bells, glitter, tinsel and other items attached for a 3D look.
Creativity
Many of these sweaters fall under the ‘ugly’ category. People have ugly sweater parties now. By choosing low prices and sweaters that can be worn all season, you aren’t buying a garment for one occasion.
